After reading a story on a 1st grade level the student will sequence pictures and retell the story

The student will sequence 6 pictures and state what is happening in each

While looking at a picture and/or listening to a story, the student will state the cause or effect of a given scenario

While listening to a story and/or looking at a picture the student will draw an inference

When presented with a picture the student will identify or label the presented absurdity

While listening to a story the student will state what is “silly” in the story

When presented with 2 objects or pictures the students will compare them

When presented with 2 objects the students will contrast them

When presented with 2 objects or pictures the students will compare and contrast them

After listening to a story the student will draw a picture “in response to literature”
