The students will differentiate between words that contain th “oo” “ou/ow” sounds (i.e. pool, out/town)

Students will differentiate between words that contain the “ou” and “au/aw” sounds

Student will differentiate between the “ch” and “sh” sounds

Student will differentiate between the “ch” “tr” and “dr” sounds

Student will sort pictures of words containing the soft and hard “c” and explain why the letter makes it’s specific sound

Student will sort pictures of words containing the soft and hard “g” and explain why the letter makes it’s specific sound

Students will spell words containing “wh” sounds

Students will spell past tense words that end in “e” by adding a “d”

When given pictures of objects that have short and long vowel sounds the student will sort them accordingly
