After reading a story or informational passage on a 3rd grade level the student will complete a graphic organizer or worksheet sequencing events while using sequencing words (first, next last etc)

After reading as story or informational passage on a 3rd grade level the student will write a paragraph depicting story events in a sequential manner

While reading a story or informational passage on a 3rd grade level the students will state the cause and effect of an event in the story

After completing a story or informational passage on a 3rd grade level the students will fill out a graphic organizer requesting the cause and effect of a given situation

While reading a story or informational passage on a 3rd grade level the students will draw an inference from information in the story

While reading a story or informational passage on a 3rd grade level the students will highlight or list clues that lead up to an inference

While reading a story or informational passage on a 3rd grade level the students will explain which facts they used to draw an inference/conclusion

After completing a story or informational passage on the 3rd grade level, the student will complete a worksheet or graphic organizer to indicate inferences drawn from the story

After reading a story or informational passage on a 3rd grade level the student will compare and contrast character traits, events, scenarios and/or genre in different books
